Real Betis Manager Manuel Pellegrini: I told Enzo Maresca we'd Meet Chelsea in the Conference Leagu

Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed he shared a little chat with Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca after the UEFA Europa Conference League Round of 16 draw.

When asked how he felt about avoiding the Blues in the draw, he stated: “I sent him a message telling him that we would see them in the final. It will not be easy by any means.”

Chelsea have been paired up to face FC Copenhagen in the Round of 16, and are heavy favorites to go past this stage. The Blues have won all their matches in the Europa Conference League so far, and the onus is on Real Betis to ensure they meet Chelsea in the final.
