Bayern Munich , Borussia Dortmund , and Bayer Leverkusen all suffered defeats.

Bayern Munich lost 3-2 at home to VfL Bochum , with Joao Palhinha's red card proving pivotal. Leverkusen fell 2-0 at home to Werder Bremen . Dortmund lost 1-0 at home to FC Augsburg , with captain Emre Can expressing frustration over the team's performance.

This is the first time since Matchday 20 of the 2006-07 season that all three clubs have lost on the same matchday.
