Apostle John Suleiman's Bold Statement: 10% Tithe is Stinginess, Give 100% as Christians

Apostle Johnson Suleman, founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, has stated that Christians who give 10% as tithe are being stingy, arguing that they should give 100% instead.
In a video making the rounds on Wednesday, the controversial cleric told his congregation that early Christians gave everything they had, not just a fraction.
To give 10% of your earnings as tithe is an act of stinginess. What happened to giving 100% to the church? Paul and Jesus didn’t need to collect 10% because the people gave all—100%. People, if Jesus appears to you, money means nothing. You got to give all, even sell your land,” Suleman said.
His comments have sparked debates on social media, with many questioning the practicality of his position.
This comes months after Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), made headlines over his own stance on tithing.
During the April 2024 edition of the Holy Ghost Service at the Redemption Camp, he declared, “Anyone who is not paying his tithe is not going to heaven, full stop.”
Following backlash, Adeboye apologised on October 4, 2024, clarifying that his statement was inaccurate. He later explained, “What the Bible says is ‘Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see God."
