Tambuwal distributes Ramadan aid to 30,000 Sokoto households

Former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has announced that the Peoples Democratic Party in the state will provide essential aid to 30,000 households during Ramadan.
Tambuwal while flagging off the distribution of the foodstuffs in his compound at Kotangora road on Monday, said this support reflects the party’s commitment to unity, compassion and helping those in need during the holy month, He thanked Allah for the opportunity to witness another fasting period and urged people to use the time for reflection, generosity, and prayers for good health and prosperity.
He praised the PDP leaders in Sokoto for their dedication to strengthening the party and mobilizing support.
He also reassured supporters that the party remains strong and determined to reclaim its mandate after the last elections. “By Allah’s grace, through strategic efforts and unwavering commitment, justice shall be restored,” he said.
Tambuwal also commended PDP lawmakers in the Sokoto State House of Assembly and the House of Representatives for their dedication to serving the people.
He praised their continuous engagement and leadership, which, according to him, reflect true service. He gave special recognition to young party members for launching a new program to empower youths and team members, calling it a first in Sokoto.“This initiative signifies a new chapter in the community’s progress and development,” he noted.
Regarding the Ramadan aid, Tambuwal emphasised that the goal is to support 30,000 households across the state.
“This initiative embodies the true essence of Ramadan—compassion, charity, and unity. I urge those in charge of distribution to ensure that the aid reaches the rightful beneficiaries, as planned.”
He prayed for blessings upon all those contributing to the cause and urged everyone to remain steadfast in working together.
“By Allah’s will, our community will soon achieve its aspirations,” he added.
