Wendy Williams' niece accused of

Wendy Williams’ controversies have, regrettably, become a frequent subject of discourse. The former television presenter has found herself at the epicenter of numerous grievances and conjectures concerning her health status and the manner in which her family has cared for her.
Nonetheless, the conversation took a more serious turn on Wednesday evening. Williams’ niece, Alex Finnie, faced allegations of “kidnapping” the former host without duly notifying the assisted living facility where she resides. Consequently, the facility has initiated a police report against Finnie. Currently, Wendy Williams is undergoing a psychological assessment at the Coterie facility situated in New York. TMZ has verified that the celebrity has been residing there for eight months under rigorous supervision.
This circumstance is what precipitated the considerable outrage surrounding Finnie’s conduct. Employees at the Coterie facility assert that she took Williams to an Italian restaurant without alerting anyone of her intentions. As a result, the staff reached out to the New York Police Department, asserting that Finnie violated their established restrictions. The facility has stated that Wendy Williams is not permitted to exit the memory care unit without appropriate assistance. Under specific protocols, an attendant must be present to operate the Coterie elevator.
Notably, Williams has herself expressed discontent regarding her living circumstances. The former talk show host vocally criticized Coterie for its limitations during an appearance on TMZ Live. She unequivocally asserted her desire to remain there for no longer than absolutely necessary. Furthermore, Wendy Williams lambasted her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, labeling her a “liar” for extolling Coterie’s purportedly exemplary conditions. In response, Morrissey refuted the celebrity’s allegations in a statement crafted by her legal representative. She claimed Wendy Williams’ remarks to TMZ were “untrue, inaccurate, incomplete or misleading.” Morrissey’s lawyer also noted that Coterie has “excellent medical care, a spa, a workout room, excellent food, a dining room and outside terraces.”
