Shim Mheuka becomes Chelsea's youngest-ever Starter

Enzo Maresca has showcased great faith in youth by allowing 17-year-old Shumaira Mheuka to lead his Chelsea frontline against FC Copenhagen .

The teenager is going to be the centre-forward for the first leg of this Europa Conference League clash on Thursday (6 March).n Icidentally, Mheuka has now become Chelsea's youngest-ever starting player in a major European competition match.

He does it at the age of 17 years and 137 days, beating the previous record set by Joel Kitamirike (17y 196d in 2001).M heuka has made two appearances for the Chelsea senior team this season, getting just 13 minutes of game-time.
